About the Opportunity:
The Field CISO at Veza plays a crucial role in driving technology strategy, customer success, and industry advocacy for our Access Control Platform. The Field CISO will engage with prospects and customers, guide successful deployments of our platform, contribute to thought leadership in the identity security space, and support sales execution and go-to-market efforts as a technical practitioner.

You Will:
- Drive technology strategy discussions with prospective customers, articulating the value of Veza's Access Control Platform and its ability to provide a unified view of identities across systems.
- Engage at a practitioner level with CISOs, CIOs and Heads of Identity Management at major enterprises.
- Conduct regular check-ins with existing customers to assess satisfaction, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure maximum value realization from Veza's solutions.
- Provide expert guidance and best practices to ensure successful deployments and optimal configuration of Veza's platform, enabling customers to visualize and control data access across all systems.
- Represent Veza at industry events, conferences, and webinars, delivering compelling presentations and participating in panel discussions on identity security topics.
- Partner with sales teams to provide technical expertise during the sales process, participating in customer meetings, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Collaborate with marketing and product management to develop go-to-market strategies, messaging, and positioning that resonate with target buyers and align with Veza's business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in identity security, intelligent access, and zero trust architectures to inform product strategy and customer engagements.
- Establish relationships with identity security influencers, analysts, and media outlets to raise awareness of Veza's unique approach to answering "Who can take what action on what data?"
- Author thought leadership pieces, such as whitepapers, blog posts, and articles, to educate the market on Veza's solutions and demonstrate expertise in identity security and access control.
- Collaborate with marketing and product management to develop go-to-market strategies, messaging, and positioning that resonate with target buyers and align with Veza's business objectives.
- Work closely with Veza's product management and engineering teams to provide valuable insights from customer engagements and industry trends, informing the development of our Access Control Platform and contributing to the evolution of Veza's product roadmap.
- Mentor and coach other members of Veza's technical team, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
You Have:
- Education:
- B.S. Required or equivalent experience
- M.S./M.B.A nice to have
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, with a strong focus on identity security, access management, and zero trust architectures
- Deep understanding of modern cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, and experience with identity governance and administration (IGA) and privileged access management (PAM) solutions
- Proven track record of successfully engaging with C-level executives and technical decision-makers on identity security initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Others skills:
- Passion for staying at the forefront of identity security trends and a desire to continuously learn and growWillingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with customers and attend industry events

At Veza, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range can be discussed with your recruiter for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package.
