Maohua Lu Ph.D

Maohua Lu Ph.D has a long history of work experience. In 2004, they were a Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University. In 2008, they were a Technical Intern at Symantec Research Lab. In 2010, they were a Research Staff Member at IBM. In 2014, they were a Technical Director at Datos IO, Inc. In 2018, they were a Senior Staff Engineer at Rubrik, Inc. Currently, they are Co-Founder and CTO of Veza, a data security platform built on the power of authorization.

Maohua Lu Ph.D. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University between 2000 and 2004. Later, between 2004 and 2010, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Stony Brook University. Additionally, they have obtained two certificates, a Cassandra Developer Certificate from DataStax in September 2015, and a MongoDB Developer Certificate from MongoDB, Inc. in February 2015.
