Uraiba Binte Umar

Uraiba Binte Umar has a range of work experience in software quality assurance. Uraiba Binte began their career at Abacus Consulting in 2016 as an SQA Engineer, where their responsibilities included analyzing requirement documents, creating test plans and strategies, and performing various types of testing. Uraiba Binte also worked with APIs and trained new resources. In 2018, Uraiba joined Caramel Tech Studios as a Sr. SQA Engineer & LiveOps Manager, where they worked on product documentation and served as a LiveOps Manager for Rogue Games, Inc. and fizz.io. Uraiba Binte then worked at BIG IMMERSIVE as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, focusing on test planning, test design, and test execution. Currently, Uraiba holds the position of Senior Software Quality Assurance Manager at vFairs, where they are responsible for reviewing requirements, creating test plans and test cases, coordinating testing activities, and tracking quality assurance metrics. Uraiba Binte also stays up to date with new testing tools and strategies.

Uraiba Binte Umar pursued their education in a chronological manner. Uraiba Binte completed their Masters of Software Project Management degree from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences between 2022 and 2024. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2016, they attended Lancaster University, where they obtained a Software Engineering BSc (hons) degree, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. In 2010, Uraiba studied at Punjab Group of Colleges Lahore and completed their FSc Pre-Engineering degree. Finally, from 2008 to 2010, they attended American Lycetuff School, where they completed their Matriculation science degree. Additionally, Uraiba Binte Umar obtained a certification in Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in June 2023.
