Ravi Ranjan, PhD has held a variety of roles in research and development. In 2021, they began working as the Research and Development Manager and Senior Research and Development Engineer at VFlowTech. In 2020, they were a Research Fellow at Create Campus for Research Excellence And Technological Enterprise (CREATE). From 2015 to 2020, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, where they worked on a low-grade waste heat driven ejector refrigeration system, focusing on thermal system design and testing along with ejector design and its optimization using CFD. In 2014, they were a Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. In 2013, they completed a Dissertation at the Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
Ravi Ranjan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing) from Annamalai University between 2008 and 2012. Ravi then went on to obtain a Master of Engineering in Automobile Engineering from Amity University between 2012 and 2014. In 2015, they began their Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Singapore, graduating in 2019. Ravi also obtained a Graduate Certification in Management of Technology from the National University of Singapore between 2016 and 2018. Additionally, Ravi Ranjan has obtained certifications in SolidWorks 2018 from beginner to expert from Udemy in 2020, Intellectual Property (IP) Essentials for Businesses from the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) in 2020, ISO 13485:2016 on medical devices' product development process from Udemy in 2019, and Fusion 360 Simulation (FEA) from Udemy in 2019.
