Saravanan Jaganathan

Saravanan Jaganathan has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to 2023. Saravanan'smost recent role was as an HSSEQ Consultant in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Health Safety Environment Advisor from 2022 to 2023. Before joining as an advisor, they served as a Marine Superintendent at PT Snepac Shipping and as a Safety Trainer at PT. Samson Tiara in 2022. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as an Environmental Health Safety Specialist at Hitachi Energy. Additionally, they held positions as an HSEQ Officer at ABB from 2020 to 2021, and as a Diving & HSEQ Manager at TechnipFMC from 2012 to 2014. Saravanan also worked as a Rope Access Manager Safety and Compliance Manager at All Clear Abseiling Solutions from 2010 to 2012. In the early year of their career, they served as a Diving & Rope Access Safety Advisor at Unidive Marine Services from 2007 to 2010, and as a Health Safety Environment Engineer at Sembcorp Marine Ltd from 2005 to 2007.

Saravanan Jaganathan has a diverse education background in the field of occupational safety and health technology. The first recorded education experience is from the Institute of Technical Education in 1999, where they obtained an NTC 3 in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. In 1997 and 1998, they attended SAF Education Centre and achieved a GCE O Levels certification. From 1992 to 1996, Saravanan attended Swiss Cottage Secondary School and obtained a GCE N Levels qualification.

Moving forward, in 2010 and 2011, they pursued a Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician from Griffith University. In the same year, they also completed a Diploma in Auditing from RABQSA. Additionally, in 2011, Saravanan earned a Diploma in Training & Assessment from TAFE Queensland.

To further enhance their knowledge, Saravanan obtained an Advanced Certificate (Level B) in Workplace Safety & Health from NTUC LearningHub. Saravanan also pursued an Advanced Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician from Health & Safety Advisory.

Later, Saravanan pursued specialized diplomas from Singapore Polytechnic. Saravanan obtained a Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health and another in Maritime Superintendency.

Additionally, Saravanan has completed various certification programs and courses. These include the IGC from NEBOSH in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician and Fire Prevention and Safety Technology/Technician. Saravanan also obtained certifications as a Part 3 Air Diver from the Australian Diver Accreditation Scheme and as a Rope Access Level 3 Specialist from IRATA in Industrial Abseiling.
