Ryan Black is a seasoned legal professional specializing in technology-related business law, particularly for consumer-facing technology companies. As a Partner and Co-Chair of Startups, Emerging Companies and Technology at DLA Piper since January 2020, Ryan assists clients in launching businesses, commercializing technologies, and navigating financing and exits. In addition to this role, Ryan is a Board Member of the Video Game Bar Association, a Director at both the Vancouver Fireworks Festival Society and Claren Academy, and served as a Business Law Clinic Adjunct at the Peter A.
