Tainá Bitar (she/her)

Tainá Bitar is a seasoned legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Compliance Officer and Account Executive at VGW since January 2022, Tainá is involved in the Risk and Retention project. Previous positions include Court's Clerk and Acting Team Lead at the City of Toronto, along with experience in customer service and legal research at Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic and Booking.com. Tainá's legal career began in Brazil, with roles as an Advisor to a Judge, Lawyer, and Legal Intern in significant institutions including the Tribunal de Justiça do Estado do Pará and the Ministério Público do Estado do Pará, focusing on domestic violence cases. Tainá holds postgraduate diplomas in Civil and Procedural Law, as well as Public Law, and a Bachelor's degree in Law from institutions in Brazil.
