Jennifer Nigro

Jennifer Nigro is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in rental housing development and business operations management. Currently serving as the Rental Housing Development Accounting Manager at Virginia Housing since August 2021, Jennifer oversees the Construction Loan Accounting area, managing construction draws and loan closings for affordable housing properties. Previously, Jennifer held the position of CEO at W.L. Wachter Electrical Contractor, Inc., where business operations and accounting functions were supervised from November 2007 to April 2022. Additionally, Jennifer served as a Senior Accountant at The Country Club of Virginia and had a long tenure at Virginia Housing, where Jennifer progressed through various roles including Senior Accountant, Staff Accountant, and Interim Rental Housing Accounting Manager. Jennifer holds an MBA from the University of Richmond and a BS in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University.
