Mariah Williams

Mariah Williams, MURP, serves as the Strategic Housing Manager at Virginia Housing since August 2021, following a role as the Director at Housing Opportunities Made Equal of Virginia, Inc. from October 2019 to August 2021. Mariah has experience as a Consultant and Facilitator at The Spark Mill and as an Adjunct Professor for an introductory urban studies course at the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs. Mariah holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Richmond. Additional experience includes positions at Deloitte Consulting, LLP, MetroPlus Health Plan, and the Bloomingdale Family Program, highlighting expertise in strategic operations, project management, and community engagement. Mariah completed the Higher Ground Leadership Development Program at the Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute in 2023.
