Jesus R. Castillo

Jesus R. Castillo has over 16 years of experience in the geospatial industry. From 2021 to present, they have been working as a Customer Success Manager at vHive. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Technical Manager at Orbit Consultores S.A. de C.V., where they were responsible for finding surveying opportunities, managing and optimizing geospatial projects in the energetic sector (Oil and Gas) obtained from airborne, mobile, or terrestrial LiDAR scanning, Photogrammetry, Geodetic surveys (GNSS) and Drone surveying. From 2009 to 2016, they were a Technical Manager at AERONAUTICAL SUPPLIES, N.V., where they were responsible for managing and improving every technical procedure, QC/QA methodology, within the LiDAR acquisition and processing department, ortophoto production department and cartographic mapping and GIS department of the company. From 2005 to 2009, they were a Geodetic Survey Engineer at Soluciones Integrales GIS, C.A (SIGIS).

Jesus R. Castillo received their Geodetic Survey Engineer degree from La Universidad del Zulia in 2004. Jesus R. then pursued a Magister degree in Maestria en Ciencias de la Tierra from Universidad Simón Bolívar from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, they completed a Curso-Diploma in Sensores remotos from Institut de Geomática - Barcelona España.
