Brendan McDermott

Brendan McDermott has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Brendan is currently working as a Sales Manager - Eastern Region at Matterport since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at VHT Studios from 2014 to 2022, where they held various roles including Regional Sales Director and Account Development Executive. In these positions, Brendan successfully managed a team of five Area Sales Managers, led cross-functional teams to introduce new products, and established strong relationships with top accounts, resulting in significant revenue growth. Before joining VHT Studios, they worked as a National Admissions Advisor at American InterContinental University from 2009 to 2014. In this role, Brendan provided guidance to potential students and led a team of advisors. Brendan also contributed to process improvement initiatives through participation in focus groups. Earlier in their career, Brendan worked as a Marketing Analyst at Comcast from 2008 to 2009, where they organized marketing events and analyzed sales reports. Prior to that, they worked as a Physical Therapy Technician at Midwest Physical Therapy from 2005 to 2008. Brendan started their professional journey as a Senior Airman, Cable Communications Systems and Antenna Journeyman in the United States Air Force from 2001 to 2005. Throughout their career, Brendan has showcased strong leadership skills, achieved revenue growth, and successfully managed teams and budgets.
