Ryan Niemiec

Ryan Niemiec has a diverse work experience. Ryan currently serves as the Chief Science & Education Officer at the VIA Institute on Character, where they educate practitioners in various fields on character strengths. Ryan has been with the institute since 2009, initially starting as the Education Director. Prior to this, they worked as a Health Coach at Hummingbird Coaching Services from 2009 to 2010. Before that, they worked as a Psychologist at the Saint Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute from 2001 to 2009.

Ryan Niemiec earned their Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and English from Michigan State University from 1992 to 1997. Ryan then attended Forest Institute of Professional Psychology and obtained a Master's degree and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from 1997 to 2001.
