Yiyang Peng

Yiyang (Annie) Peng is a Bachelor of Science candidate in Computer Engineering at Columbia University, with extensive experience in hardware and software engineering. Currently serving as a Hardware Engineer Intern at VIA Technologies, Inc., Yiyang conducts validation testing for edge computing boards and manages sensor validation. Previously, Yiyang worked at NASA, contributing to projects such as the Micro-g Neutral Buoyancy Experiment and the CubeSat Launch Initiative, focusing on target recognition systems and satellite spectrographs. Yiyang also gained experience as an Automation Engineer Intern at China Automotive Engineering Research Institute, where an automated platform for testing rail wheel wear was engineered. Educational background includes the International Baccalaureate from Kristin School, with summer studies in Constitutional Law at Harvard University and Statistics at The University of Auckland.
