Catherine Alvarez

Catherine Alvarez has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. Catherine is currently working at Via as the Principal of People Operations since September 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Associate Principal of People Operations from October 2020 to September 2021 and Associate of People Operations from March 2019 to October 2020.

Before joining Via, Catherine worked at Handy HQ where they served as the Manager of Strategic Operations from November 2016 to March 2019. Catherine also held roles as Senior Associate of Strategic Operations from July 2015 to November 2016 and Associate of Strategic Operations from August 2014 to July 2015.

Earlier in their career, Catherine worked at New York Cares as a Program Manager from November 2013 to August 2014 and as an Operations Assistant from March 2013 to November 2013. Catherine also gained experience as a PR Intern at LAUREN BAGLIORE DESIGN HOUSE Inc. from February 2012 to May 2012, a Sales Intern at Creative Recreation Inc. in June 2010, and an Intern at Commonwealth Boutique in December 2008.

Catherine Alvarez obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Apparel Design and Merchandising Management from Virginia Tech, graduating in 2011.
