Katie Adams

Katie Adams is the current US Compliance Manager at ViaBill. Katie has held this position since August 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director of Compliance at Peopletrail from July 2018 to August 2021. In this role, Katie was responsible for significant decision-making, high-level judicial and analytical capabilities, ability to apply own ethical principles, highly effective communicator and negotiator, an expert-level understanding of risk management, innovative forward-planning, ability to apply a deep and profound understanding of the sector and the industry to address compliance issues where they arise. Educate both senior management and lower-level staff on compliance issues by writing clear summarization reports of new external regulations or live presentations.

Katie has a long history of developing compliance organizational strategies by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction, establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.

Protecting assets is another area of expertise for Katie, who does so by establishing compliance standards, anticipating emerging compliance trends, designing improvements to internal control structure. In addition, Katie is responsible for running internal audits which check for adherence to these needs.

Liaising with lobbyist groups and regulatory bodies and building relationships with key international/regional bodies is another important part of Katie's role as US Compliance Manager at ViaBill.
