Miguel Cortes Vargas has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the manufacturing industry. Miguel is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at Viakable, where they are responsible for managing multi-site operations in different countries and industries. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Operations SS&M R2 at Adient. Miguel also held several positions at Metalsa, including VP Operations - Asia, Director of Business Development, Vice President of Strategic Development, Project Director in Thailand and India, Plant Manager, Senior Director of Human Resources, Plant Human Resources Manager, Manufacturing Specialist, Model Facilitator, and Industrial Engineering. In these roles, they demonstrated their ability to drive operational excellence, implement strategic initiatives, and achieve cost competitiveness improvements. Overall, Miguel has a strong track record of success and a wealth of experience in the manufacturing sector.

Miguel Cortes Vargas has completed the Mergers & Acquisitions Executive Program at The Wharton School and the D1 Executive Program in Business Administration and Management at IPADE Business School. Miguel also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Regiomontana S.C. Additionally, they have obtained an International Human Resources Certification from Universidad de Monterrey and has completed the True Lean Systems Program at the University of Kentucky.
