Stavroula Koilakou, MD,MSc,MPH has extensive work experience in the medical field. From 1998 to 2000, they served as a Resident in Internal Medicine at St. Saba Cancer Centre. Stavroula then became a Fellow in Gastroenterology at Evaggelismos General Hospital of Athens from 2002 to 2006. Stavroula continued their career as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at the "Tzaneio" General Hospital of Piraeus from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they served as a Medical Manager (Immunology, Neonatology) at AbbVie Pharmaceuticals S.A. & Abbott Laboratories S.A. Stavroula then worked as a Medical Manager (Hepatology) at AbbVie in 2014, before transitioning to Takeda as a Medical Manager MCO Balkans (GI) from 2014 to 2017. Most recently, they have been employed at Vianex SA, holding the positions of Medical Affairs Manager / Biologicals Business Unit from 2018 to 2019, and then advancing to the role of Medical Head / Biologicals Business Unit from 2019 onwards.

Stavroula Koilakou, MD, MSc, MPH has a diverse and extensive educational background. In 1989, they began their undergraduate studies at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 1995. Afterward, from 2000 to 2002, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Applications of Biology in Medicine at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2017, Stavroula Koilakou enrolled in European University Cyprus and successfully completed a Master in Public Health (MPH) program in 2019. Currently, they are furthering their education by pursuing a Bachelor of Arts - BA (Cand) degree in the Faculty of German Language & Literature at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, where they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2024.
