Charlie Mix

Charlie Mix, PMP, is an accomplished manager with extensive experience in sourcing and procurement across multiple high-tech industries. Currently serving as Manager of Global Sourcing and Procurement at Viasat Inc. since July 2017, Charlie oversees a team that sources sophisticated products for broadband satellite communication systems, leading strategic sourcing initiatives and managing complex supplier relationships. Prior to Viasat, Charlie held key managerial roles at Cisco Systems, where responsibilities included leading sourcing strategies and contract negotiations, and at Motorola, where the focus was on global outsourcing for energy products. Charlie's career began at Boeing in engineering and program management for advanced weapon systems. Charlie holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University.
