Troy Terpening

Troy Terpening is an accomplished attorney and contracts director with a robust background in legal management and strategic advisement. Currently serving as the Director of Contracts at Viasat since November 2024, Troy oversees complex contractual matters, while simultaneously operating a law practice focused on transactional and litigation strategy. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Contracts at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, where Troy managed a multi-billion dollar portfolio and supported multiple business units. Additionally, as Of Counsel at Scott + Scott, Attorneys at Law, LLP, Troy led litigation teams handling intricate cases across various industries. Troy earned a JD from California Western School of Law and a BA in Anthropology from San Diego State University.
