Michiel Nieuwkerk

Michiel Nieuwkerk is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement and business management. As the founder of ViaTim since January 2016, Michiel has been responsible for launching the company, attracting clients, coordinating partners, selecting suppliers, managing accounting, and overseeing promotions. Prior to this, Michiel held significant roles at Nestlé, serving as European Lead Buyer for Technical Services from June 2011 to December 2015, where oversight included managing 30 Strategic Buyers across 25 countries with a focus on sustainable cost improvements. Earlier experience includes a position as European Procurement Analyst at Nestlé, a Product Coster at Unilever, and an Assistant Controller at Budelpack International. Michiel holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Management Studies from De Haagse Hogeschool.
