Folkert Prins

Folkert Prins is a Design Engineer at Viavac Vacuum Lifting BV since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Product Ontwerp & Werkvoorbereiding and Werkvoorbereider at Van Doorn Lighting B.V. from October 2021 to May 2023. Folkert completed a Master Graduate stint at Benchmark, focusing on developing an integrated decontamination system for a microfluidic platform during the master's thesis. The academic background consists of a Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Design Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Design, both from the University of Twente. Additionally, Folkert's experience includes a collaboration with RE-liON BV for a bachelor's graduation assignment, redesigning a backpack computer, serving as Chairman & Secretary for a study tour to Taiwan in 2016, and co-founding Estis Design, a design studio.
