Amanda Dittmar

Amanda Dittmar serves as the Legal Lead for Optical Security and Performance Products at VIAVI Solutions since January 2016. Prior to this position, Amanda was an Associate at Bookoff McAndrews, PLLC, specializing in drafting and prosecuting patent applications across various technologies including mechanical, biomedical, and electrical engineering. Amanda also worked as an Associate at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, where the focus was on client counseling and patent litigation, gaining extensive experience in litigation strategies and document preparation. Amanda's legal education includes a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University, emphasizing Intellectual Property Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio Northern University. Additional experience includes a judicial externship with the Southern District of Ohio and an internship at MTD Products.
