Cheng Liu

Cheng Liu has extensive experience in research, development, and engineering leadership across multiple prominent technology companies. Currently, Cheng Liu serves as Vice President of Research & Development at JDS Uniphase Corporation since July 2009, while also being self-employed since 2021. Previous roles include Vice President of Engineering at Finisar and Leapstone Systems Inc, and General Manager/Sr. Director at Cisco Systems. Cheng Liu also held the position of Vice President of Engineering at TCSI and served as Executive Director at Bellcore (now Telcordia) from 1988 to 1997.
