David Padfield

David Padfield is currently the Chief Scientist of Optimisation at Viavi Solutions, specializing in mobile network optimization such as 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G. With previous experience at Nokia Siemens Networks as a Technical Support Manager and at Motorola as a System Engineering Manager, David has a strong background in GSM, UMTS, LTE, and WiMAX technologies. With a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Cambridge, David has a deep understanding of network architectures and protocols.
