Erik Probstfield

Erik Probstfield is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development and program management within the technology sector. Currently serving as Senior Director for the VALOR Program at VIAVI Solutions since May 2024, Erik has also held significant leadership roles at Arizona Tech Investors as Vice Chair of Due Diligence since July 2014, focusing on early-stage technology investments. Previously, Erik worked at Infineon Technologies for over 15 years in various senior director positions, driving improvements in productivity and quality while managing large teams across multiple countries. Other notable experiences include positions at Amkor Technology, IBM, and significant contributions to the Gross Profit and Lean Manufacturing Initiatives at IBM. Erik holds a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering-Physics from Pacific Lutheran University.
