Wil Chandler

Wil Chandler has a diverse work experience, starting as a Photography Editor for The Profile, the Hendrix College newspaper, from August 2013 to May 2014. Wil then worked as a Photography Intern at Arkansas Business Publishing Group from May 2014 to August 2014. Wil transitioned to the tech industry, starting as a Software Developer at Blueye from May 2015 to September 2016. Wil then joined Vibes, where they worked in various roles. Wil started as a Software Engineer I from September 2016 to July 2019, then progressed to Software Engineer II from July 2019 to January 2021. Next, they served as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2021 to August 2023, and currently holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at Vibes since August 2023. During their tenure at Vibes, they specialized in developing and maintaining applications supporting public APIs, SSO, SMS and push notification messaging. Wil has significant experience with technologies such as Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, AWS, Terraform, and Node.js.

Wil Chandler received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English - Literary Studies from Hendrix College, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, they attended Dev Bootcamp to pursue web development, though they did not obtain a degree from this institution.
