Courtney C. has extensive work experience in the field of government services and intelligence. Courtney has held various roles in different organizations throughout their career.
In 2009, Courtney joined Victoria Police as a Compliance Officer and later became a Team Leader. Courtney then served as an Acting Section Manager and an Intelligence Analyst before being promoted to Senior Strategic Analyst and Principal Strategic Analyst. From 2017 to 2020, Courtney was the Manager of the State Strategic Intelligence team and also managed the COVID-19 Intelligence Team. In 2020, they became the Senior Governance and Reporting Advisor.
In 2021, Courtney moved to Emergency Management Victoria, where they initially served as the Director of Intelligence and later as the Acting Executive Director of Data and Intelligence.
In 2021, Courtney joined the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Vic) as the Principal Advisor for Data Governance and Strategy.
Most recently, in 2022, Courtney joined the Department of Government Services as the Head of Cyber Safe Communities.

Courtney C. holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Studies in Advanced Psychology & Criminology from Swinburne University of Technology. They have also completed a Strategic Analysis Course at Charles Sturt University. Additionally, Courtney has obtained several certifications in areas such as Agile Ways of Working, Digital Literacy in the Public Sector, Digital Solution Design, Planning a Project, Risk Management in the Public Sector, and Sustainable Change from RMIT University. The obtained year for all certifications is 2022.
