David McNamara

David McNamara joined Vicinity Centres in February 2022 and has over 30 years’ experience in retail sector Funds and Asset Management. As Director of Funds Management, David is responsible for Funds Management initiatives for Vicinity.

Prior to joining Vicinity, David held senior roles with Lendlease including Head of Asset Management – Retail for two years as well as Fund Manager of the Australian Prime Property Fund Retail (APPFR) for over eight years. Prior to this he worked for The GPT Group including senior roles in Capital Transactions and as Head of Asset Management – USA, where he was based for several years.

Before joining GPT David gained extensive Asset Management, Leasing and Development experience within the Australian retail market working on major regional assets.

David holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from University of NSW and a Master of Applied Finance from Kaplan Professional.
