Andrew Maughan

Andrew Maughan has a diverse work experience spanning over four decades. Andrew began their career as an Electrical/Electronic Engineering Craft Apprentice at GEC Switchgear in 1977. Later, they joined GEC Meters in 1981 as an Electronic Development/Manufacturing Engineer, where they worked on designing and developing electricity meters. Andrew gradually assumed management roles within GEC Meters and led multi-disciplinary teams in developing smart meters. In 1994, Andrew joined Sequoia Technology as a Technical Area Sales Engineer, responsible for managing customer relationships and sales growth. In 1998, they joined Maxim Integrated as a Principal Account Executive/Manager and worked for 18 years in various Technical Account Executive/Management positions. During this time, they focused on increasing revenue and management responsibilities within Maxim's sales teams. In 2016, Andrew became self-employed as a Business and Sales Specialist. Finally, in 2020, they joined Vicor Corporation as the Director of Business Development for the Mass Market EMEA region.

Andrew Maughan attended Staffordshire University from 1986 to 1989, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics and Electronics.
