Rebecca Cook

Rebecca Cook has a diverse work experience in the education field. Rebecca is currently serving as the Director of LCAP, Curriculum & Instruction at the Victor Valley Union High School District since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Riverside County Office of Education as an RCOE Clear Administrative Coach starting in 2018. At the Association of California School Administrators, they also held the role of ACSA Clear Administrative Coach from 2018 to February 2023, where they coached and mentored administrators to clear their administrative credential.

Rebecca'searlier experience includes working at the Desert Sands Unified School District, where they held various roles. Rebecca served as the Director of Leadership Development from September 2017 to February 2023, responsible for implementing a district-wide leadership development system. In addition, they were a High School Principal from June 2014 to September 2017, an Assistant Principal at a high school from August 2009 to June 2014, an Athletic Director from July 2008 to July 2009, an Activities Director from 2006 to June 2008, and a Special Education Teacher from 2004 to 2006.

Rebecca Cook earned their Doctor of Education - EdD degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of LaVerne in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from California State University-San Bernardino in 2010. Before pursuing their master's degree, they also completed another Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from the same university in 2008. Rebecca'sundergraduate education was completed in 1993 when they earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Wells College.
