Kate Coughlan

Kate Coughlan is an accomplished public relations and communications professional with extensive experience in the racing and media industries. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Public Relations & Communications at Victoria Racing Club since August 2015, Kate has held multiple roles within the organization, including Acting Senior Manager and PR Manager. Prior to this, Kate worked as an Adviser for the State Member for Shepparton at the Parliament of Victoria and also held the position of PR Coordinator at Victoria Racing Club on a contract basis. Earlier career experiences include various reporting and editorial roles with Fairfax Media, along with internships at prominent media outlets such as Nine Network Australia and Network Ten. Kate holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Australian History from the University of Melbourne.
