Jose Gómez-Sellés

Jose Gómez-Sellés is an experienced product lead currently working at VictoriaMetrics since November 2024. Previously, Jose held the position of Senior Product Manager for Observability at Red Hat, overseeing critical products like OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing technologies. With a strong background in software architecture and engineering, Jose contributed to Ericsson in various roles such as Software Architect and Systems Engineer, focusing on product evolution and leading cross-functional teams. Jose's earlier experience includes serving as a Consultant Engineer at Altran and as a research assistant at IMDEA Materials and CNRS CEMES. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Materials Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Licentiate degree in Physical Sciences from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
