Ratul Bhowmik

Ratul Bhowmik has a diverse work experience in product design and user experience. ratul currently holds the position of Lead Product Designer at Victoria's Secret since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Truecaller as a Senior Product Designer, where they were responsible for defining end-to-end experiences for business monetization across web and mobile. ratul also worked as a Product Designer at Truecaller, where they built scalable design frameworks for enterprise SAAS and mobility solutions.

Before Truecaller, Ratul was a Product Architect at Loktra, where they managed and steered product design and innovation through a data-driven approach. ratul also played a role in setting up initial design teams across departments to scale up design. Additionally, they worked as a Senior User Experience Designer at Loktra, driving and owning the entire UX across all fintech products and collaborating with key stakeholders in end-to-end design and handoff of Android and iOS apps, SaaS products, and websites.

Ratul has also worked as a Co-Founder at AdvDiary and as a User Experience Designer at HealthPlix Technologies Private Limited, where they were responsible for ground research and product design. ratul gained experience in domains such as healthcare, retail, enterprise process solutions, and consumer products while working as an Associate UX Designer at Cognizant Technology Solutions. ratul worked with clients like Huawei, SAP Labs, Metlife, and underwent various internal projects.

Furthermore, Ratul worked as a User Experience Designer for Huawei Technologies India, where they were involved in heuristic analysis, design strategy, and product architecture for Huawei's Vmall website and EMUI Android team. ratul also gained experience as a Product Designer at Honeywell Safety Products and as an Assistant Product Designer at the National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore, where they redesigned the interior space of an indigenous civilian aircraft for better ergonomics and cabin experience.

Ratul Bhowmik attended St. Paul's School from 1993 to 2005, where they completed their Secondary Education in the PCM field of study. From 2005 to 2007, they studied at Hindi H.S. School and obtained their Higher Secondary Education degree in PCM. Lastly, Ratul attended the National Institute of Design from 2007 to 2012, specializing in Product Design.
