Summa S. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2002, Summa worked as a Staff Accountant at Enterprise, where they were responsible for expense processing and accrual management. From 2003 to 2004, they served as a Senior Accountant at Cypress Healthcare Management, overseeing monthly accounting close and cash forecasting for multiple facilities.
In 2004, Summa joined Morgan Stanley and held multiple positions, including Retail Product Accounting Analyst, Legal Entity & Accounting Control Associate, and Transfer Pricing Controllership Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, and intercompany pricing arrangements.
Summa then joined GE Capital in 2012 as a Senior Treasury Analyst, overseeing cash desk operations in North America. In 2014, they transitioned to GE as a Director of Treasury Operations, leading cash and liquidity strategy, M&A activities, and funding transactions.
From 2018 to 2020, Summa worked at NiSource as a Director and Assistant Treasurer, managing cash management, treasury operations, and corporate finance. Summa also co-led the Black employee resource group.
Following that, Summa worked at Cardinal Health as a Director and Assistant Treasurer, overseeing global treasury operations and implementing technology solutions to improve efficiency.
Currently, Summa is employed at Victoria's Secret & Co. as the Associate Vice President of Treasury. In addition to their treasury responsibilities, they also lead the Mosaic employee resource group, advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the company.
Throughout their career, Summa has consistently demonstrated their expertise in cash management, strategic oversight, and finance leadership while actively promoting cultural diversity and inclusive work environments.
Summa S. holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Hunter College. Prior to that, they obtained a NYS Regents Diploma from Charles E Gorton High School. In addition to their formal education, Summa has also completed the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification from the Association for Financial Professionals in July 2019. Furthermore, they have recently completed the Black Executive Leadership Program at McKinsey & Company in 2021.
