Vijay Mandayam

Vijay Mandayam's work experience spans over several decades and includes various leadership roles in corporate innovation, combustion solutions, business development, sales, and customer service.

Most recently, they served as the Vice President of Corporate Innovation and Combustion Solutions at Victory Energy Operations, LLC, starting in September 2020. Prior to that, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Amplebit Consulting LLC, starting in April 2020.

From 2008 to 2020, Mandayam worked at John Zink Hamworthy Combustion in several senior director positions. Vijay directed international business development, leading a team to double sales and margins in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. As the Senior Director of Global Sales, Engineering, and Customer Service, they doubled sales and quadrupled margins, implemented customer-focused strategies, and initiated innovative product development strategies. Vijay also served as the Senior Director of Sales and Business Development, where they doubled sales and margin and improved market share. Mandayam had previous roles as the Senior Director of Customer Service and Director of Strategic Sales.

From 1991 to 2007, Mandayam worked at Coen Company, Inc. as the Director of Marketing and Business Development, Manager of Sales, Senior Researcher, and Project Manager. In their role as Director of Marketing and Business Development, they played a key role in product development, global sales, marketing, and new business. Vijay led the development of new market-leading products, implemented strategic planning to increase earnings, managed business development teams, and led the acquisition of Electric Power Technology Company. Earlier in their career at Coen Company, they served as a Sales Manager, Senior Researcher, and Project Manager, managing projects for industrial and utility customers, commercializing technologies, and managing product commercialization.

Mandayam began their career at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) as a Project Manager, overseeing the commercialization of Biomass Gasification technology.

Overall, Mandayam has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in various areas of business development, sales, marketing, customer service, and product development throughout their career.

Vijay Mandayam pursued their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from B. M. S. College of Engineering, between the years 1982 and 1987. Vijay then went on to obtain a Masters degree in the same field, specializing in Mechanical Engineering, from Villanova University. This degree was obtained between 1989 and 1990.
