Egide Kamuzinzi

Egide Kamuzinzi is a Geospatial Data Scientist at VIDA since September 2022, bringing a solid background in software development and data science from Carnegie Mellon University, where Kamuzinzi served as a Software Developer & Data Scientist and Graduate Student Intern from June 2021 to August 2022. Prior experience includes working as an IT Officer and Python Programming Trainer at Agahozo Shalom Youth Village from January 2018 to August 2020, and as an Account Officer/Sales and Marketing Officer at Guaranty Trust Bank (Rwanda) plc from July 2017 to January 2018, with responsibilities in account management, credit analysis, and loan monitoring. Kamuzinzi also completed a relevant internship as an Acting Alumni Coordinator at Agahozo Shalom Youth Village in 2016. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University Africa (2020-2022) and a Bachelor's degree in computer and software engineering from the University of Rwanda (2013-2017).
