Jamie Keech

Jamie Keech has a diverse work experience in various industries, including mining, environmental management, teaching, and consulting. Most recently, they are the Co-Founder & Executive Chairman of Vida Carbon Corp, where they focus on investing in carbon markets and promoting corporate climate leadership. Jamie is also a Partner at Inventa Capital Corp, responsible for strategic decision-making. Prior to that, Jamie founded and served as the Chief Investment Officer of Resource Insider, an investment service focusing on the mining and metals space. Jamie has also held managerial positions at Equinox Gold Corp., JDL Gold Corp., Anthem United Inc., and Canary Extractive Industries, where they facilitated mergers, managed projects, and provided consulting services. Jamie has experience in regulatory affairs, due diligence, project evaluation, and government relations. Additionally, they have worked as an associate lecturer at Aberystwyth University, teaching environmental and earth sciences. Jamie started their career as a mining and geotechnical engineer at Leighton Contractors (Asia) Ltd, where they provided technical support to coal mines and conducted feasibility studies for new projects.

Jamie Keech completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mineral Engineering from the University of Toronto, from 2003 to 2008. Following that, from 2009 to 2010, they attended Camborne School of Mines in Exeter, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mining Engineering.
