Derek Tan

Derek Tan has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Derek began their career as an Intern at Film Formations, then moved on to become a Filmmaker at nuSTUDIOS Film Productions. In 2007, they became an Intern at the Mixed Reality Lab in NUS, and the following year, a Student Researcher at the Interactive Multimedia Lab in NUS. In 2009, they were hired as a Product Executive at StarHub, and in 2010, they were appointed Business Development for Asia at Cooliris. In 2013, they co-founded Viddsee, a leading video entertainment platform for short premium content, and currently serves as its Co-founder.

Derek Tan attended National Junior College from 2001 to 2002. Derek then attended National University of Singapore from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
