Dan Chote

Daniel Chote is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering leadership and development. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Videon since April 2021, Daniel previously held the position of Director of Engineering at GoDaddy from March 2019 to April 2021. Prior roles include serving as CTO at Helping Hands of America Inc and BrandYourself, where Daniel contributed to the design of a minimalistic PHP framework and managed developer teams. Additional experience includes roles at Double Dutch Studios as Technical Cofounder & VP of Engineering, Director of Software Development at Match.com, and CTO at The Hive. Daniel began an independent career in technology in 2002, focusing on Jabber (XMPP) and the Rival Messenger project. Education includes attendance at Thames High School and Tapu School.
