Tony Hui

Tony Hui has a wealth of experience in the technology and data science industries. Tony began their career in 2014 as a Graduate Research Associate at The University of British Columbia. In 2016, they took on the role of Data Scientist at the UBC Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology. In 2018, they joined EY as a Senior Consultant - Enterprise Intelligence and Consultant - IT Advisory. In 2019, they moved to Indeed.com as a Technical Product Manager, where they led Natural Language Generation technology (GPT-3) from conception to launch. Tony also enhanced resume building with suggestions powered by historical data and proved through AB testing, resulting in a 50% increase in resume completions. In 2021, they joined vidIQ as Director of Product and Technical Product Manager.

Tony Hui obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Honours with Distinction from The University of British Columbia. Tony then went on to complete a Master of Science (MS) from the same institution. In addition, they were a Summer Research Student at the University of Oxford. In 2018, they obtained the EY Artificial Intelligence - Bronze certification from EY.
