Sami Tuohino

Sami Tuohino has a diverse range of work experience in various engineering and management roles. Sami is currently employed at Vidsy as an Engineering Manager since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at DrDoctor as the Head of Engineering from October 2020 to October 2021. Sami also served as an Engineering Manager and Agile Delivery Coach at MOO from April 2017 to September 2020. Before MOO, they held positions as a Development Team Leader and Technical Release Manager at NetNames from April 2014 to March 2017. Sami also has experience as a Release Manager at Bookatable from July 2013 to March 2014, and as a Release Manager at the Amazon Development Centre, London from May 2012 to June 2013. Sami started their career at Nokia UK, working as a Senior Engineer, Integration & Release from October 2010 to April 2012, and as a Senior Engineer from January 2008 to October 2010. Sami's earlier experience includes working as a SW Engineer at Ixonos Plc from 2006 to 2007, and as an R&D Seasonal Trainee at Nokia in 2006 and 2005.

Sami Tuohino started their education in 2003 at Oulu Polytechnic, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Technology. Sami attended Oulu Polytechnic for three years until 2006. In the same year, they also enrolled at Coventry University and pursued a BSc with Honours degree in Computer Science, completing it in 2006.

In 2011, Sami Tuohino obtained the Certified Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification from scrum.org.
