Jessica Nilsson

Jessica Nilsson has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within different companies. Jessica is currently working as a Product Owner at Viedoc, starting from December 2022. Before that, they worked as a Project Manager at Uppsala Clinical Research Center (UCR) from August 2021 to November 2022.

Prior to their role at UCR, Jessica worked at Uppsala Monitoring Centre for over 20 years. During their time there, they held positions such as Agile Product Owner, Production Manager, and Programme Leader. As an Agile Product Owner, they were responsible for the product backlog, detailed requirements, and interacted with users. Jessica also ensured that business requirements were prioritized, interpreted, and implemented as expected. As a Production Manager, they handled customer and technical support related to VigiBase, the WHO global database of individual case safety reports. Additionally, they served as an observer in the ICH E2B working group.

Jessica's career started at Apoteket in 1999, where they worked as a Receptarie until January 2000.

Jessica Nilsson began their education journey in 1997 at Uppsala universitet, where they pursued the Receptarieprogrammet for a duration of three years, until 1999. Jessica then continued their studies at the same institution, Uppsala universitet, from 2000 to 2001. During this period, they obtained a Farmacie kandidatexamen (farm.kand.) degree with a focus on Biofarmaci B.
