Jan Buschmeyer has a diverse work experience that includes positions in marketing, sales administration, and business development. Jan started their career as a Praktikant at E.ON Energie and BASE CONSULT in 2001 before becoming a Consultant at BASE CONSULT from 2003 to 2006. Jan then worked as a Referent Unternehmensentwicklung at Schmack Biogas AG from 2006 to 2009. After that, they served as stellv. Geschäftsführer / Prokurist at Schmack Energie Holding GmbH for a brief period in 2009. From 2010 to 2016, they held various roles including Leiter Marketing and Leiter Innendienst / Sales Administration at Schmack Biogas GmbH (Viessmann Group). Jan’s most recent position is as the Head of Marketing BU Industrial Solutions at Viessmann starting in January 2017.
Jan Buschmeyer earned a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from the University of Bayreuth, completing their studies from 1997 to 2003. Jan also participated in a digital marketing leadership course called Squared Online, developed with Google, in 2017. In addition to their formal education, Jan Buschmeyer obtained various certifications, including Google Ads, Google Analytics IQ, and a Technology Entrepreneurship course from HarvardX. Jan also completed a Digital Enablement and Education Program (DEEP) with Viessmann in 2017, and received a Führungskolleg certificate from the IHK Academy Munich and Upper Bavaria in 2007.
