Terrence Masson is an accomplished professional in the field of computer arts and visual effects, currently serving as Chair of the MFA Computer Arts Department at the School of Visual Arts since October 2016. With a founding role at the institution, which is recognized as one of the top digital art schools globally, Terrence focuses on fostering creativity and multidisciplinary approaches among students. Participation in various prestigious organizations includes being a member of the Visual Effects Society, Producers Guild of America, and ACM SIGGRAPH, where contributions to the community are significant. Additionally, Terrence has held advisory positions with VIEW Conference and Animation Mentor, and founded Building Conversation Inc., applying extensive experience in interactive media and augmented reality technology. Educational qualifications include an MFA in Computer Animation from William Paterson University and a BFA in Graphic Design & Art History from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
