Ivy D'Silva

Ivy D'Silva has extensive work experience in various roles within the architectural and design industry. Ivy started their career as a CAD Engineer & Designer at CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd., where they provided CAD training and software sales services. Ivy then worked as a Senior Project Architect / Project Manager at Jon Jang Architect, overseeing custom home designs and managing various project phases. Ivy later joined Square three design studios as a Job Captain, and was responsible for coordinating projects.

In 2014, Ivy established their own firm called Ivy Designs, where they served as the Owner and Principal Architect. Ivy provided architectural planning and designing services for custom residential homes, remodels/additions, and multi-family housing projects. Ivy managed project phases, consultant contacts, and drafting services with software such as AutoCAD, Vectorworks, and Revit.

After running their own business, Ivy joined View, Inc. as an Electrical CAD Systems Designer. Ivy designed interconnects and created documentation for their Dynamic Glass applications in high and low-rise buildings. Ivy then took on the role of Project Architect | Project Manager, where they provided pre-sales support, project management, and visualization services. Ivy also worked with BIM experts to creatively position View's products and manage service vendors.

Ivy's most recent role at View, Inc. is as a Manager, Systems Integration | Design Technology, where they built and maintained strategic relationships with design partners. Ivy identified and developed new business opportunities, developed operational plans and budgets, and onboarded and trained new partners.

Throughout their career, Ivy has gained extensive experience in architectural design and project management, using various software tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ivy has also exhibited strong leadership skills by hiring and building teams, training and retaining talent, and expanding teams.

Ivy D'Silva has a degree in Architecture from Manipal Institute of Technology, which they obtained between 1996 and 2001. Ivy later pursued Project Management studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 2011 to 2012. In 2017, Ivy attended the Kawneer Training Center to learn about architectural glazing systems and products. In 2019, they attended Autodesk University in Las Vegas, Nevada, although the specific degree or field of study is not mentioned.

In addition to their formal education, Ivy D'Silva has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they completed the Glazier System Integration - Professional Training program offered by Kawneer Company, Inc. In 2020, Ivy earned the DD101: Foundations of Telecommunications Distribution Design, v13.2 certification from BICSI. Most recently, in May 2023, they completed the Revit Architecture 2022 - Professional Training provided by Autodesk Inc.
