Paul Bird

Paul Bird worked as the Director of Clinical Operations for Vigilant Health starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Ambulatory Operations - Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center from 2015 to 2023. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Director at Community Health Systems. Before that, they were with Health Management Associates, Inc. for 12 years, serving as the Director of Wound Care/HBO, Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab, Diabetes Management, and Bariatric Surgery. Paul also worked as a Program Director at Curative Health Services from 1998 to 2002, and as an Operations Officer at The Grail Group from 1996 to 1998.

Paul Bird earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Southern Mississippi from 1976 to 1980. Paul then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Performance/Exercise Physiology from the same university, which they completed from 1991 to 1994.
