Eric Ossmann has extensive work experience in the healthcare field. Eric currently holds the position of Chief of Preparedness and Mobile Integrated Healthcare at Prisma Health, starting in October 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Medical Officer at VIGILINT, where they focused on creating response solutions to minimize injuries and illnesses associated with medical emergencies. Eric also worked at Greenville Health System as the Vice Chairman, overseeing the administrative and operational aspects of the Department of Emergency Medicine. Before that, they held positions at Duke University Medical Center as the Director of Prehospital & Disaster Medicine and Associate Chief Medical Officer, at Emory University as an Associate Professor, at Grady Health System as the EMS Medical Director, and at Indiana University School of Medicine as a Resident Physician in Emergency Medicine. Eric's expertise and experience span various areas of emergency medicine and patient-centered emergency response planning.
Eric Ossmann completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Botany/Plant Biology at DePauw University from 1986 to 1990. Eric then pursued further education at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where they obtained their Medical Doctor (MD) degree in Medicine from 1990 to 1994.
