Drew Cathey

Drew Cathey is a Principal Security Consultant at VikingCloud since June 2022, bringing extensive experience from previous roles, including Senior Security Consultant at SecureTrust from January 2015 to June 2022 and Manager at Verizon Data Services from August 1987 to November 2014. At Verizon, Drew managed a team focused on compliance, risk, and governance programs within the IT Security organization, overseeing initiatives such as PCI compliance and SOX compliance for IT infrastructure teams. Drew holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina, as well as a Master of Business Administration in Information Technology Management from the University of Tampa.
