Karen Mette Lassen

Karen Mette Lassen has a diverse work experience in the brewing and pharmaceutical industries. Karen Mette began their career at Carlsberg as a Master Brewer in 1993 and worked there until 2000. Karen Mette then joined Carlsberg Breweries as a Laboratory Manager from 2002 to 2008. Following that, they served as the Production Director at Carlsberg Group from 2008 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Novo Nordisk A/S as an Associate Manager. Currently, Karen Mette Lassen holds the positions of Site Manager and Managing Director at Viking Malt, which they joined in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

Karen Mette Lassen completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1985 to 1991, they attended the DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biotechnology. Following this, from 1991 to 1993, they pursued further studies at the Scandinavian School of Brewing and obtained a degree as a Master Brewer, specializing in Brewing.
