William Heniff has a diverse work experience in community development and planning. William started their career as a Planner I at DuPage County in 1988 and then worked as an Administrative Analyst at the Village of Orland Park from 1990 to 1994. In 1993, they returned to DuPage County and held the positions of Senior Planner and Zoning Administration Supervisor. From 2000 to 2008, William served as the Senior Planner and later became the Director of Community Development at the Village of Lombard.
William Heniff obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Geography and History from Illinois State University between 1982 and 1986. William then pursued a Master's degree in Urban Planning & Policy at the University of Illinois Chicago from 1987 to 1989.
